Up here in "not so sunny Scotland" some of our children have returned/started Primary & Secondary school - GOOD LUCK to all!!
I now have absolutely no distractions so for me it is back to designing and creating with a vengeance. I am always tempted to worry that I shall forget HOW if I have not done anything creative for a few days. The reality is that it is a bit like riding a bike - you never forget! Once I am back at my work bench the creative juices usually return as I if I have never stopped. For me it is quite simply FUN!

While out an about in the Alexandria area today I stumbled upon a "true gem" of a craft shop, namely: The Papercraft Company which is tucked away in the Lomond Industrial Estate, Alexandria. From the minute I stepped through the door I was warmly welcomed by James. When it came to adding up my purchases (of course I had to buy something - after all I am a CRAFTER!!) I was served by James' wife Fiona. Through the back of the shop I could see a large and airy craft room - every crafter's delight! The shop of course stocks all the usual crafting and scrapbooking supplies but there was literally a veritable treasure trove of my particular favourite item - 12 x 12 scrapbook papers. These papers are what inspire my cards and you will usually find that my cards feature these papers somewhere on my creations. I have been asked by quite a few customers about the availablity of CHRISTMAS CARDS. I shall get my sketch pad out and design some new ideas for Christmas 2009 in the next few weeks. If all goes well I should expect to upload some new xmas stock by the end of September 2009 at the very latest.
